Malbec is one of Clare Valley’s truly cherished red grape varieties. The region boasts Australia’s most significant plantings, its specific climate and geographic conditions promoting wines of great distinction.
Often included to enhance red blends, our Bass Hill Vineyard produces fruit of such finesse that it deserves to be seen in its single varietal glory as well. This fruit-forward and full-bodied wine is the underdog of wine varietals.
Fragrant to begin, with floral notes and attractive mocha characters, juicy crimson fruits give our Malbec a freshness and midweight elegance that is immensely drinkable.
